Very Sad Loss for a Good Friend, Margaret Dodd (GD4RFK)
This one hit me a bit harder than I expected, it was certainly unwanted, and I would have hoped that she had a easier and more enjoyable time since the passing of Douglas (GD3RFK), but alas she was to follow her late husband.
I made a promise to look after Margaret as much as I could, both her and Douglas were never the type to ask for help so I did what I could, I made a promise that I would not break, so between meds and my own appointments I tried to make her garden a little pretier for here, my only sadness here is that she never got to see the finished result except for photos, and due again to my own shortcomings, weather and unforseen events I have not been able to visit over the last two months before her passing and the garden to thwe front of the house was left to its own devises and although the bees and butterflies are enjoying it, it certainly needed a good trim and thankfully looks a lot worse than it is.

I will miss popping up to see both Margaret and Douglas at their home in Regaby, it is certainly a bitg loss to the island. Douglas was a good friend to me, we were both into photography and I learnt a lot from him over the years when it comes to the fun to be had with old school 35mm and Medium format film cameras, and when out and about watching the ploughing events held here on the island you would often see at least one of them with a camera in hand.
Margaret was a kind person and ruled the roost when they were both at home, they loved sitting in the sun with the robins that would often eat from their hands, these were the good times that will sadly be missed
I hope that she is now at rest and out of pain and that the both of them have now found each other again and now are on their next big adventures together.
You will be constantly missed…
